Turner Prize 2015: Exhibition of Shortlisted Artists

Glasgow – Tramway

Glasgow has produced several winners of the prestigious Turner Prize for contemporary art. Now the city is hosting an exhibition of this year’s finalists in the Tramway, a once derelict industrial cathedral, revived for Peter Brook’s Mahabarata in 1988, that is Scotland’s internationally acclaimed venue for contemporary visual and performing art.

Fur coats on chairs; an occasional choral performance, an interior design showroom and a room full of headphones and televisions represent the work of the shortlisted artists with a variety of videos and other material providing background to their artistic careers.

The winner will be announced on December 7th.

Free admission. More info for opening times and associated events. www.tramway.org
